The McDaniels wanted a session that felt authentic to them. We began the session at Slate Studio Memphis, my favorite studio to photograph in! The neutral backdrop was perfect for the McDaniels style and then they switched it up in the tall grassy field. Here’s to celebrating a slow, soft life. <3
Midtown Memphis Newborn Session | At Home with baby Elijah
This sweet family reached out to me about 4 years ago to photograph their daughter’s first weeks at home. From there I’ve gotten to document their pregnancy with their second babe, and his first few weeks at home as well. There’s nothing I love more than when families come back to allow me to document more of their most important moments. It’s such an honor to be accepted into a family’s home, again and again, as a witness to their authentic lives at their most comfortable - in the house they’ve made into a home.

The Proctors hold a special place in my heart. Camilla is a wedding videographer who I met at a wedding a few years ago. Since then, our babies have become friends + Camilla + I have become close friends! May Mama + Me Special
Mother’s Day is May 12! So for the entire month of May, I’m running a special on Mama + Me sessions. <3
Mama + Me sessions are 45 minutes at Shelby Farms. They include up to 50 images delivered via an online gallery 3 weeks after your session. These will take place on Mondays + Wednesdays starting 2 hours before sunset, throughout the month of May! The session fee for these mama + me sessions is $275 with 50% due to book.

I had the honor of nannying this little man for a year and a half. From 3 months old until 17 months. He’s just the sweetest little boy in all the land. One day while his mama was at work, we went up to his parents bed + took a few milestone photos. These sessions are SO fun + chill. He had a few snacks at the end, too. I love love love milestones, they show baby’s growth in such a minimalistic, organic way.
The toddler tummy, the teeth poking through, the drrroooooool (😍), and the chewing on the toes. I die!! He’s such a sweetie boy!!
